Founded in 2005 to support the local adventure racing and outdoor community, TRAKS rapidly expanded into the field of industrial rope access and high angle rescue.
TRAKS is the leading provider of rope access, climbing, rescue equipment, and training in the Middle East since 2005.
James Falchetto, the founder and chairman of the IRATA Regional Advisory Committee is a strong believer that TRAKS essential mission is to bring international work at height standards to the region.
With training centers in the UAE, India and more launching soon, TRAKS is truly the regional leader for IRATA training.
More importantly, following its founder’s vision, TRAKS constantly engages stakeholders, legislators and other rope access actors in following IRATA standards in their region.
From training the region’s civil defense, Police Rescue units, and other first responders in NFPA high angle rescue techniques, TRAKS also acquired a reputation for being the go-to company for anything technical rescue. From working at height awareness training to confined space rescue courses, TRAKS delivers the entire NFPA 1670 curriculum.
On the outdoor side, TRAKS opened the first pro-shop in the region in 2006. In an effort to offer top of the line climbing, outdoor and caving equipment. The TRAKS pro-shop retails premium outdoors brands ensuring you a safe and pleasant journey in the vertical environment.
True to its roots and always wanting to support the growing outdoor community, TRAKS actively supports and provides a training base for the Middle East Caving Expeditionary Team.
TRAKS is the sole distributor for Petzl, the global leader for verticality and hands free lighting. We also distribute other leading brands which help professionals and outdoor enthusiasts safely enjoy their time or work in the vertical environment.
At TRAKS we believe in giving back to the people who share our passion and fuel our success.
Our support to local events and local athletes is just one way to show our appreciation and say thank you.
We are interested in helping people integrate the gear and its applications into their hobbies or their career. Furthermore, TRAKS believes our sponsorship should connect people of different background with new vertical experiences based on a shared passion for the outdoors.
Currently we support The Middle East Caving Expeditionary Team, a long-term project dedicated to providing a hub for the region’s caving community.
